Chiefs Super Bowl Parade Information Guide

The Kansas City Chiefs are champions of Super Bowl LVIII, which means they will be celebrated with a parade through downtown Kansas City on Wednesday, February 14th.

The basics

The caravan will depart at 11 a.m. Arrowhead Time at 6th Street and Grand Blvd, travel south on Grand Blvd, west on Pershing Road, north on Main and end at Union Station. It is expected to last about an hour and a half – followed by a rally at Union Station, which is expected to begin around 12:45 p.m. Arrowhead time.

Here’s how to watch

KSHB 41 (NBC) is the official broadcast partner of the parade. The celebration will be broadcast live on KSHB 41 and streamed on Coverage begins at 4:30 a.m. Arrowhead Time.

On the way to the parade

TRAM: Tram service begins at regular travel time at 6 a.m. and runs every 10 to 12 minutes until around 10:30 a.m. At this time, tram service will be temporarily suspended until the end of the parade. Streetcar service will resume once the tracks between 20th Street and Pershing Road are clear. Tram passenger service will be available at all tram stops except Union Station. Beginning Wednesday morning, riders and parade-goers must exit the KC Streetcar southbound at the Crossroads stop. Northbound travelers can board the KC Streetcar at the northbound Crossroads stop. The Union Station light rail stop will be closed to passengers on Tuesday, February 13, at the end of regular service.

KCATA PARK & RIDE LOCATIONS: The park-and-ride shuttles run from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – and then again from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers must return to the drop off location for their respective shuttle. Please take into account possible waiting times at park and ride locations. Expect a 45 minute wait at popular locations. Here are the locations where passengers can board the shuttle.

SCOOT & BIKE: In Kansas City, there are two micromobility partners offering an alternative way to navigate the city during the parade festivities: RideKCBike and Bird. Please note: Scooters and bicycles are not allowed in restricted areas. Please be considerate of pedestrians – and do not drive on sidewalks.

PARK: There will be parking restrictions along and around the parade route. These restrictions will come into effect at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13th and will continue until the evening hours of Wednesday, February 14th. Cars parked in temporary no-parking zones will be relocated at the owner’s expense. Cars parked on the highway will be moved at the owner’s expense. If your vehicle has been relocated, you can call (816) 513-0688 for its location. There is a fee for most parking areas around the parade ground, including the National WWI Museum and Memorial, Union Station and Crown Center.
