Kathy Griffin shocks her fans with a dramatically puffy pout after getting her lip tattoo

Kathy Griffin shocked fans with a dramatically puffy patch after getting her lip tattoo, and fans even compared her to Kylie Jenner.

The 62-year-old actress and comedian let her fans into the treatment room while she underwent a painful lip reddening procedure.

Kathy used her YouTube channel to show fans the spectacular process in action of adding a semi-permanent shade to her lips in a short video titled “I GOT MY LIPS TATTOOED”.

She wore a T-shirt with her face on it and the words “Not officially cancelled,” though she told fans, “Okay, so I’m trying to stay under the radar for now.”

Kathy didn’t shy away from the cameras as she exited the doctor’s office, flaunting her plump lips to her friends, much to their confusion.

Oops! Kathy Griffin shocked fans with a dramatically puffy patch after getting her lip tattoo, and fans even compared her to Kylie Jenner. ‘I don’t think anyone can say that’: The 62-year-old actress and comedian let her fans into the treatment room while they undergo a painful lip flush

55-year-old actress Kristen Johnston chimed in, expressing her disbelief: ‘What have you done?’ That’s not real!’

The comedian insisted, “I don’t think anyone can say that,” after telling viewers that they “will be going to the Fourth of July parade,” despite the puffiness left over from her glamorous makeover.

Her husband, Randy Bick, wasn’t too impressed either – the head of marketing let out an audible “shit” when he saw his wife’s new lips, to which the star reassured, “That’s it.” [only] a little swollen!’

Eager to continue with the surgical enhancements, she told fans, ‘Second, I’m going to have my eyebrows microbladed more often because I didn’t do enough last time.’ We’ll see’.

The video ended showing the star looking flawless with her lips finally healed – now they look naturally pouty rather than red and puffy.

The outspoken comedian drew a lot of criticism from fans, although most were impressed with her transformation.

Taking note of her YouTube comments, one fan said, “I was scared for you at first but the end result looks amazing!” You look beautiful Kathy.

One concerned fan said: “The end result is great but holy shit Kath, the first shot is Kylie Jenner.”

Painful procedure: The star wore numbing cream to ease the pain brought on by the tattoo gun that would attack her lips

The star’s procedure comes after she underwent successful vocal cord surgery in June to fix voice problems she had after an oncologist removed half of her left lung in August 2021.

The stand-up actress has been open about her battle with lung cancer, sharing on Instagram that her throat “is a little itchy today but I’m fine” after the procedure.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Last year, when she was last on the show, Kathy said she had lung cancer, which is why half of her left lung had to be removed.

“My voice has suffered some damage,” said the TV star. “But I’m fine, it doesn’t hurt … and the most important thing is my boobs are still great,” she said, shaking her chest to cheers from the audience.

Kimmel, 55, commented that her new higher pitched voice makes the star “funnier” and asked, “Will your vocal cords eventually stretch and your voice deepen again?”

Kathy replied, “I think it’ll be back to normal, but I’m not sure.” I’m still working on it. I’m funnier because I think I don’t sound menacing and reserved. This is my new perspective.

This comes after a difficult year of recovery after it was revealed last August that she had been diagnosed with stage one lung cancer despite never having smoked.

“I’m cancer free.” I don’t know why, I had a tumor didn’t I? And I never smoked, and it was in there for 10 years,” said the amazed actress.
