Meghan’s Kardashian connection! Her mother, Doria Ragland, poses with Kris Jenner and Kim at a star-studded charity event that also hosted Amazon boss Jeff Bezos in LA… while the Duchess of Sussex prepares for the million-dollar social media relaunch Dollars per post prepared

Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland joined forces with Hollywood’s most famous power mom Kris Jenner and her A-list daughter Kim Kardashian last night as they caused a stir at a glamorous event.

The mother-of-one, grandmother of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, wore a colorful paisley-print shift dress in stunning shades of yellow, orange and pink to attend the fifth annual This Is About Humanity soiree in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, SKIMS founder Kim, 42, debuted a new hairstyle, sporting bangs and a ponytail and dressed all in black, while “Momager” Kris, 67, looked chic in a white suit.

As the trio posed for photos, they hugged and were beaming and looking very friendly while snuggling up against each other.

Doria’s appearance at the star-studded event comes amid reports that her daughter Meghan, 42, is planning a big return to social media with a new Instagram account that could see her earning up to $1 million per post.

The Mail on Sunday reported that the Duchess of Sussex is planning a “relaunch” on the social media platform after the @sussexroyal name was deactivated in 2020 when the couple left the UK to live on the other side of the… big pond to start a new life.

Adorned with a picture of pink peonies, said to be Meghan’s favorite flowers, a source close to her team confirmed this week, “Yes she is.” Expect an announcement very soon. She’s coming back.’

The impromptu meeting between her mom Doria and the Kardashians at last night’s party isn’t the first time their worlds have crossed.

In May this year, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted hiking in Los Angeles with a bodyguard believed to have been involved in protecting Kim Kardashian in 2016.

The photos, taken while Prince Harry was in the UK for his father’s coronation, showed the man accompanying Meghan and her companions on a trip to the countryside.

The Sun reported that the same bodyguard worked with Kim before and after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, while another of her former carers said the Sussexes were able to pick him from a “small pool of elite bodyguards” who with many celebrity works.

Steve Stanulis told the publication, “Kim’s safety will come first.” It’s no different with Harry and Meghan – they’re world famous and equally vulnerable.”

Meghan is set to make a social media comeback three years after her previous account was deactivated on Instagram.

Doria looked chic in the yellow, orange and pink paisley print shift dress as she posed for snaps at the event. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s grandmother wore orange suede pumps and a gold necklace with pearlescent pendants. Amazon owner Jeff Bezos and his fiancé Lauren Sanchez also attended the glittering charity event. Harry and Meghan were pictured leaving celebrity restaurant Tre Lune in Montecito earlier this month. The Duchess’ ‘new’ account – with the username @Meghan – already has 76,000 followers and experts say it could mean a huge boost to her finances.

Several of Meghan’s friends are already following the report, including activist Mandana Dayani, who was president of Archewell, the Sussexes’ media and charity company, until last December.

A source told The Mail on Sunday: “Everyone in Hollywood is talking about the relaunch being imminent.” “Meghan has never made a secret of wanting to return to Instagram.”

Before her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018, Suits actress Meghan’s personal Instagram following totaled more than three million, while tens of thousands of fans signed up for her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig.

Meghan first revealed in an interview with The Cut last year that she plans to return to Instagram, telling author Allison P. Davis, ‘Do you want to know a secret?’ I’ll be back on Instagram.’

Eric Schiffer, a social media whiz who advises Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars, former Disney actress Bella Thorne and cast member of the US version of Dragons’ Den, said her return to Instagram would open up new avenues.

“I don’t think Meghan’s return to Instagram will surprise anyone,” he said.

“She has a new talent manager and that’s the next logical step.”

“I would expect her to quickly become one of the most followed accounts on Instagram.” There are celebrities like the Kardashians who charge a million US dollars (£790,000) or more for a single post promoting a product can.

“There is no reason why Meghan could not earn such honoraria.”

“As a Duchess, she has to be careful not to appear to be selling every product under the sun. It will partner with quality brands and companies that align with its political and societal beliefs.”

According to a New York Post report earlier this month, Meghan first set up the name @meghan when she launched her Spotify podcast.

A source told Page Six: “Meghan was planning on going live on Insta but changed her mind just before she launched her Archetypes podcast so it’s just sitting there now.”

Meghan has repeatedly demonstrated her power as an influencer by wearing outfits and bags that have sold out.

NuCalm, which sells an anti-stress patch, has seen sales surge since the Duchess was photographed with a patch on her wrist while running errands near her home in Montecito, California.
