Nothing’s CMF smartwatch and earbuds are leaking, could launch next month

  • A leak revealed three products that Nothing’s CMF sub-brand could launch.
  • The three products include a smartwatch, earbuds, and a USB-C charger.
  • According to the leak, these products will be launched in India on September 26th.

Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, announced in early August that his company would launch a new sub-brand called “CMF by Nothing.” It said the sub-brand would launch a smartwatch later this year that aims to compete with some of the best smartwatches out there, as well as earbuds. A new leak has revealed the design of these products, some details and the existence of a third product.

On the app formerly known as Twitter, @TechLeaksZone shared three pictures these appear to be internal marketing banners. These marketing banners feature a smartwatch called Watch Pro, earbuds called Buds Pro, and a 3-in-1 65W GaN USB-C and USB charger.

Starting with the Watch Pro, the image shows a square-display smartwatch. The rounded edges give the Watch Pro a similar look to an Apple Watch but without the curved sides. And the orange strap has no visible signs of tabs, which could indicate the bang is non-detachable. As for the specifications, the user goes into more detail in a separate Telegram post. According to the leak, the device will have a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with Always-on-Display (AOD) support, 600 nits of brightness, a 50Hz refresh rate, and will not come with Wear OS.

The device might also feature an aluminum alloy watch case, built-in GPS with Bluetooth 5.3, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a 330mAh battery (up to 13 days of life with AOD off). It’s said to have a heart rate monitor, blood oxygen sensor, sleep tracking, stress monitor, breathing exercise sensor, and more. Finally, the leak claims it will offer Bluetooth calling support with AI noise cancellation, 100 watch faces and 100+ workouts.

Unfortunately, there is not that much information about the Buds Pro. As stated on the banner, these earbuds offer active noise cancellation, 11 hours of continuous playback, and feature Ultra Bass technology. Surprisingly, these earbuds have a different form factor than the peanut-shaped earbuds that leaked earlier this year.

Along with these details, the leak provides a possible launch date and price. The leak suggests the three products could launch in India on September 26, with the Watch Pro selling at Rs 4,500, the Buds Pro at Rs 3,500 and the charger at Rs 3,000. Converted to US dollars, these prices would be around $55, $43, and $37, respectively. It is unknown when these devices will launch in the US and if these prices will remain the same.
