Swizz Beatz talks about the “negative vibe” of trolls

Alicia Keys’ husband reacted to her steamy performance with Usher during the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show on Sunday.

After social media users commented that Keys and Usher’s partners must be jealous watching them get touchy on stage, Swizz Beatz said that just wasn’t the case.

The day after the show, he joined many social media users raving about the show and shared a post on his Instagram.

In his caption, he said there was no “negative vibes” and heaped praise after watching Usher, 45, and Keys, 43, sing their 2004 hit “My Boo,” which he described as Called “classics”.

The Grammy-winning record producer – whose full name is Kasseem Daoud Dean – said her performance was “nothing but amazing.”

Many social media users took to X following the show, tweeting that it was “inappropriate” for Usher to hug Keys when they were both in a relationship.

“Why was Usher so fixated on Alicia Keys?” wrote another. “…I know Swizz’s heart sank during this performance.”

However, Keys’ husband seemed unfazed and was very supportive of his wife.

“You’re all talking about the wrong thing,” he began. “You don’t see this amazing dress covering the whole stadium.”

He added: “Tonight’s performance with two great giants was simply amazing!” Congratulations @usher and my love @aliciakeys. This song is a classic.

“We don’t do any negative vibes on this site,” he continued. “We are making history.”

He concluded his post by urging his fans to check out their art exhibition – Giants: Art from the Dean Collection by Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys – at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.
