Taylor Swift’s best friend Jack Antonoff overshadows Scooter Braun amid run-off

Taylor Swift’s longtime best friend and colleague Jack Antonoff helped Scooter Braun superstar customers churn.

The Bleachers lead singer, who recently tied the knot with Margaret Qualley, shared a meme from The Sims game via his Sunday Instagram story.

The image showed a female sim staring at a computer while her baby sim lay on the ground in flames.

The caption read, “Not now sweetheart mom trying to figure out why Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Idina Menzel just fired Scooter Braun as their manager.”

Antonoff’s post comes nearly a week after Page Six confirmed that Demi Lovato parted ways with Braun and his talent management firm SB Projects in July.

Idina Menzel also ended her professional relationship with Braun in January, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

There were also rumors that Justin Bieber – who has worked with the talent manager since 2006 – has ended working with Braun.

Though the “Yummy” singer’s reps have dropped the reports, other sources told Page Six, “Where there’s smoke there’s fire.”

Rumors are circulating that Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande have also ended their relationship with the talent manager.scooterbraun/Instagram

Additionally, Billboard reported last week that Ariana Grande is seeking new management after ten years with Braun, 42.

However, a source denied the rumors, telling Page Six that Braun and the “Positions” singer are still working together.

A second source familiar with the situation clarified that Grande, 30, and Bieber, 29, are not leaving SB Projects, but that Braun is taking a step back.

“All of Scooter Braun’s customers are signed and negotiations have been going on for several months as Scooter assumes his larger role as CEO of Hybe America,” the insider told us.

Of course, Swift, 33, publicly criticized Braun back in 2019 after he bought the rights to her master recordings.

“Scooter took my life’s work that I couldn’t buy,” she wrote in a lengthy Tumblr post at the time. “Essentially, my musical legacy is in the hands of someone who has tried to dismantle it.”

Though Braun later sold the Masters for more than $300 million in 2020, the business move prompted the pop superstar to re-record her first six albums.

So far, she has re-released 2008’s ‘Fearless’, 2010’s ‘Speak Now’ and 2012’s ‘Red’ – all of which Antonoff, 39, helped produce.

They’ve also teamed up on 2020’s Folklore and Evermore, as well as 2022’s Midnights and the highly anticipated 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which is due out October 27.
